Review the case study in Chapter 6.1. Using what you have learned from the resources in Section VI: Module 6, explain the role that values, choice, voice, and purpose played in the decisions the coach made. Then respond to the following questions derived from the case study:
- Clarifying Culture: What were the values espoused by the University and the program? Did the coach’s actions demonstrate these values?
- Creating Community: Did the coach’s handling of the incident promote positive relationships between key stakeholders (players, staff, community, university)?
