1. Analyze and Discuss Individual and Social Barriers Within a Diverse Workplace as described by the textbook. Provide appropriate APA intext citations and references. 

2. Compare and contrast the above theories and practices to the selected corporation you have chosen as your case study. 

Question: What are commonly known barriers to success in your selected corporation?

3. Based on your reading last week and this week, what emerges as a best operational practices for the corporation you have selected.  Why is that the case? Draw your conclusion using the textbook as the comparator in discussion.  Provide appropriate APA intext citations and references.  

4. Attention should be paid to accuracy of information using either data from class readings or researched information.  For researched material, please provide the appropriate citations and references using APA formatting

5. Please proofread your discussion post prior to submission to ensure correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. 

6. Upon completion and posting of your narrative, comment on at least two (2) and up to four (4) of your classmates’ post using critical thinking and scholarly writing.  Please use in-text citations and a reference section when responding to peers.  

7. Original posts are due November 1, 2023 and two and up to four Peer responses are due November 5, 2023 NLT 11:59PM. Note. Peer response must be tied to the textbook and appropriately cited. 

APA Style

The American Psychological Association publishes the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association as its style manual for the social sciences disciplines. It is also used by other disciplines as a handbook for authorship of papers.

The most recent edition, the seventh edition, was published in 2020. This edition can be found in the Ready Reference section of the Library at the Reference Desk on the first floor. The call number is Ready Reference BF 76.7 P83 2020. Listed below are examples of sample citations. 

Authors

In APA citations, only the first initial or initials of each author are used.  For example, if your paper was written by Pierre John Upenieks, your citation should read: 

Upenieks, P. J.

For more than one author, separate their names with commas and use an ampersand (&) between the last and second to last name.  For example:

Upenieks, P. J., & Wright, K. 

Include up to twenty authors in this format: 

Upenieks, P. J., Alleyne, R. L., Wright, K., Bulatao, E., Winford, C. A., Cabading, J. R., & Boockvar, K. S. 

If there are twenty-one or more authors (some scientific papers have had dozens of authors!), include the first twenty authors, add three ellipsis points (…), then add the name of the last author.  Example:
