Q1: What did you learn from reading or

classroom discussions that you applied on the

internship?

There are many benefits that I gained from

reading and discussion during internship, which

increased my ability to learn and thus transform

knowledge and theories into practical experience.

I got to know the experiences of friends, which

encouraged me to do more. I found support from

my doctor to develop the skill of logical thinking

, I got acquainted with learning strategies and the

theories used in this, such as the behavioral

theory, which expresses that real knowledge is

acquired through experience and application, and

that learning is a product of the relationship

between the learner’s experiences and the change

in his response according to the arousal/response

binary, as well as the constructivist theory, which

expresses that learning is an active act and that

building knowledge is based on prior experiences

and representations, And last but not least, the

cognitive theory, which looks from the angle of

the learner’s cognitive contexts, and gives special

importance to the sources of knowledge.

BIOL101 and BIOL102: I learned the basic rules

for building a medical term and how to use terms

in the anatomy and physiology of the body’s

organs.

PHC101; I learned about public health work and

its applications.

PHC261; I learned on occupational health

standards and their applications.

HCM113; application of policies and procedures

used in the health system.

PHC121- PHC131: I learned how to record and

analyze all experiments that are applied in order

to help prevent diseases and reduce epidemics.

Q3- How does this internship experience

change your views?

Internship is the first building block for applying

what I was learned during the university trip,

I improved my understanding of the educational

process and thus enhanced my individual

education. The Internship also made me able to

deal and overcome the pressures of work. The

conclusion of the internship for the student is to

know his strengths and develop them and his

weaknesses and tries to overcome them, and

these points differ from one student to another.

is comprehensive clinical exposure of our

students in a supervised clinical

environment, in order for the trainees to

obtain optimal knowledge and skills for

general public health practice and to

develop appropriate medical and ethical

attitudes in accordance with the teachings

of Islam

The internship period represents the

transition from a public health student to

a qualified public health specialist; The

process through which the trainee gains

greater confidence in dealing with patients

with professional acumen, and applies

knowledge and skills in the appropriate

practice of the profession

providing complete information about

them, which relates to diagnosis,

aetiology, symptoms, and treatment, and

the patient’s information and how to take

his medical history, because this is

completely done in the Preventive

Medicine Department. As for the other

material, it is better to be About

vaccinations for diseases from birth, the

method of storing vaccines, and the

correct behavior when a disaster occurs in

the hospital, such as a power outage, etc.,

became an important field in the

environment of medicine and health in

general, and people began to notice it

more widely. This made me realize that

public health has difficult challenges and

has an impact and a dazzling future at the

present time, and the demand for it is
