I believe an employee who is acting unethically should be terminated from his or her position if the infraction is part of a zero tolerance policy. If an employee is unable to perform their work, while following the ethical code put in place by the organization, they are failing to comply with the rules and regulations in their contract and should be terminated. I am not sure how effective these actions or penalties would be, it would depend on the person and their situation and personal ethical values.
