In this final reflection, we will use the three R’s method. You should respond to these by thinking about the whole course and all the topics, resources, and activities encountered.

Each R response should be at least two paragraphs in length.  Note the addition of the final question asking if you will implement any climate actions as a result of this class.  

· Resonate: What did you agree with? What spoke to you? 

· Resist: What did you disagree with? What did you struggle with? 

· Relevant: What did you take away with you this week? How can this material be applied to your life and others?   

· What (if any) climate change actions will you implement for you and your family going forward from this class? (the climate change action document and the ten ways to care for creation will help with this).

Your task is to create a presentation that examines a particular region, country, state, or topic in climate change. Ideas could come from some of the topics in class, where you want to visit, where you are from or places you love, or from the readings or activities we have done.

This will consist of two slides on changes, two slides on social impacts, two slides on action, and one slide with your sources. In the notes section of the slides, you should include the text of your explanation of the slides of what you would say in a live presentation on the case.  

You will want to present what is happening due to the changing climate. Some of the basic changes that you could cover are changes in precipitation, sea level, humidity, wind, and temperature.

Your presentation must cover social impacts that are happening or could happen based on the climate impacts you describe. Describe this in terms of vulnerability, adaptability, and resilience.

You should include what mitigation and/or adaptation actions are being implemented or could be implemented to manage these impacts.  

Climate change projections are typically discussed against a series of different reference years (e.g. 2030, 2050, 2100) because some regions will experience different impacts at different times (rather than just increasing severity of each) – so make sure your report considers this variability over at least two of the projected times.
