The accident occurred at around 6:45 a.m. According to police, the major accident

fire department’s ambulances and several from nearby city departments were called
to the scene. “The crash scene looked like something from a war zone,” said Sullivan.
He added firefighters had to cut the roof off of several cars to free drivers trapped
According to Police Sgt. Wei the accident closed the entire highway in both
the north and south directions.
