This week you have explored Future Trends in Nursing Practice and some of the organizations and reports that are influencing how the nursing profession educates nurses so they have the knowledge to serve on teams that are transforming how we delivery patient care.  These trends, organizations, and reports also inform the nursing profession that nurses need to participate on a  local, state, and federal level in designing policies that impact the delivery of health care.  

Two DB activities are required this week:

1. Review the AONL website and discuss what you have identified as the best practices and competencies for nursing leadership. Include the outcomes you would  expect to see from using this (150-300 words).  Include in your posting comments why you  think  this leadership style is best practice and how it can impact leading health teams to transform health care delivery and improve patient outcomes.

2. Linked In Feedback:

This week you need to  post the link to your Linked In profile that you have created.

Review a minimum of two of your classmates’ postings/Linked In profiles and offer feedback on them.  Remember to support your comments with evidence from the weekly materials, literature or other evidence based resources on leadership and professional practice.
