For this written assignment, you are to research a peer-reviewed nursing journal article related to team work and collaboration. In order to work on the written assignment this week–you will need to refer to the ‘Checklist of Behaviors that Foster a Collaborative Culture’ in your assigned reading.

What is a peer-reviewed journal article, you may ask? Check out this FAQ Page that talks about the differences between a ‘Scholarly Journal’ and a ‘Peer-Reviewed Journal’ from our very own library resources! Another clue is that the journal will usually start with “The Journal of” Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Operating Room Nurses, etc. Please include a copy of the journal article with your paper submission.

• Review your article and discuss the main points of the article and relate it to the importance of the team, using quality and holism, while taking care of the patient.
• You also need to look at the checklist in this module’s reading and see how many of the behaviors fostering a collaborative culture are mentioned in your article. List these behaviors in your paper.
• Please include a copy of the journal article with your paper submission.
