The consulting office has indicated that several of the clients are struggling mightily to deal with some of their own historic roots while confronting the opportunity to grow. You know that simply giving a history lesson regarding the past won’t be enough to indeed establish a positive future. However, you do suspect that there will be opportunities for you in certain presentations to explore the historic roots of American higher education and reflect on those roots in relationship to modern schools today.

For this assignment you are to prepare a PowerPoint which you will use as a companion for your consulting work. Your work should adhere to APA standards include the following components.

· Component 1: Describe some of the historic roots of American higher education (4-slides)

· Component 2: Identify how these historic roots were established and the degree to which these roots are still prevalent today (5-slides)

· Component 3: Identify several key, ongoing and sustainable aspects of higher education that are deeply rooted in some of the earliest work of American higher education. Trace those roots and describe their continued influence today (5 slides)

PowerPoint presentation should include the following and completely answer all of the questions for each bullet point. Use clear headings that allow your professor to know which bullet you are addressing on the slides in your presentation. Support your content with at least three (3) citations throughout your presentation.  Make sure to reference the citations using the APA writing style for the presentation.  Include a reference slide at the end.  Follow best practices for PowerPoint presentations related to test size, color, images, effects, wordiness, and multimedia enhancements.
